Burgers, ribs and pasta are served at the Hog’s Breath Café in the city centre. The restaurant has a children’s menu. This restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. every day and is open late.

Visitors in the city centre who want pastries and coffee will find them at Banjo’s Tasmanian Bakery Café. This restaurant is open from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. every day.

Hobart’s waterfront is a short walk from the city centre. One of the restaurants on the waterfront is Fish Frenzy. Fish and chips are served here. Customers order their food at the counter. The restaurant is open from noon until 3:00 p.m. and from 5:30 until 9:00 p.m. on weekdays. Hours on weekends and holidays are from noon until 9:00 p.m.

Breakfast and lunch are served at the Harbour Lights Café on the waterfront. Breakfast is served until 3:00. Items on the menu include eggs topped with smoked salmon and bagels with a variety of fillings. The restaurant has a children’s menu.

Indian food is available at The Saffron on the waterfront. Menu items include samosa, curry and yoghurt drinks.

Monty’s on Montpelier is one of the Hobart Restaurants in the historic Battery Point area. Tasmanian cuisine is served here. Lamb, rabbit, venison and quail are some of the items on the menu. The restaurant opens at 6:00 p.m. every day.

Italian food is served at Ciuccio in Battery Point. Menu selections include pizza, pasta and salad. The restaurant opens at 11:00 a.m. every day.

The Rockwall bar + grill has steak, lamb, duck and seafood. This restaurant opens at noon on weekdays and at 5:30 p.m. on weekends
